Review

The movie requires absolutely no review. Almost every individual who loves reading love stories must have read this bestseller book by Chetan Bhagat. But, converting a book into a 2 and a half hour movie is not an easy task.

Director Abhishek Varman does a fantabulous job, answering the crossing thoughts and questions arising in the minds of the two love birds. Also, he doesn’t miss the family drama, highlighting the misconceptions and doubts. He directs every phase beautifully, putting together each scene with the same simplicity and ease as in the book.

Arjun Kapoor who until now has been seen doing more action packed films, does complete justice to the film. He seems more real, understanding and effortless in this movie. With 2 States, Arjun is surely to surprise a lot of people in the industry. On the other hand, Alia expresses her feelings dialogues and everything with her beautiful eyes. She does a super job as Ananya and makes the complex character seem absolutely simple. Amrita, Ronit, Revathy and Shiv Kumar sparkle as the supporting cast. Every character in the film hits the right note, making the movie a Must Watch film.

In one line, 2 States is one of the finest movies made in the recent times. So, book your show and enjoy a love filled weekend with your partner. Let the magic of love conquer you with 2 States.
