India, the name itself makes me proud. Not just me but the world is aware of her potential and the gifts it has given to the world. Being one of the favourite country ruled by British, India has many things in its history, and one amongst them was getting independent from the torturous colonial British raj. Post independence, we created a record on 26th January 1950, by enforcing the longest written constitution in the world – The Indian Republic Day!
It’s not the only reason we celebrate today, Pre-Indian Independence, 26th January was considered as the date to declare the Independence which was postponed due to certain reasons. Britisher’s Government of India Act 1935 was discontinued and replaced by Indian Constitution. In these 66 years, India has hundreds of proud moments to its credit.
