Know More About Pallavi

Pallavi Patodi is the co-founder of YellowFashion.in, one of India’s premiere profitable online portal extensively caters to the Indian traditional, ethnic and contemporary sarees. A brand built on adoration for traditional sarees and the broad spectrum of need was started in 2011. Originated in the fashion hub, Mumbai, yellowfashion.in has earned the trust of many loyal customers and 90% of their customer base works on outright COD. With a customer base of close to 1 lakh and footprint across India and Srilanka, yellowfashion.in is marching ahead with the goal of being the premier destination for Indian ethnic wear.

Great ideas are born with a spark and at a spur of moment. A thought provoking “Why can’t we do something together?” and a comforting conversation that Pallavi had with her husband Darshan at his hospital bed post a surgery, ended up in establishing a profitable online fashion store for ethnic apparels – yellowfashion.in

Hailing from a not-so-popular town Hatpiptiliya, tucked away 50 Kms from Indore, Pallavi had a very limited exposure to the outside world. The conservative up-bringing was not a deterrent to Pallavi’s penchant to pursue something on her own. With no college in her town for higher studies, Pallavi set out to pursue her Masters in Economics from Gujrati College (Devi Ahilya University, Indore)

The marriage life and the responsibility of bringing up two kids did not stop her from chasing her dreams.  She started learning craft, material colours, capturing the trends and the moods to set up a creative line, but increasingly she realised that she was becoming impatient too.

Life often throws up surprise, from unexpected quarters. This was true in case of Pallavi too when Darshan fell sick and had to undergo a surgery. But it is these testing moments that enable miraculous moments as well.  The idea for creating a brand in the ethnic saree segment was thus born and soon the duo launched yellowfashion.in
