Chef Sridhar Sigatapu brings with him fifteen glorious years of experience in the hospitality industry! He mastered the culinary art from the Indo-American Hotel Management Academy at Visakhapatnam by undergoing a Diploma in Hotel Management. He has also completed 12 subjects under the Global Academic Plan (GAP) of Educational institute of American Hotel & Motel Association, USA. As Executive at The Grand Mercure, Bengaluru, he will oversee all operations related to food in the property.
Prior to joining The Grand Mercure in December 2014 Chef Sridhar had been with Courtyard by Marriott Chennai for one year seven months and worked in London for ten years with some noted Hotels like Hilton, DoubleTree by Hilton Firmdale hotels and Ramada. Chef Sridhar brings with him diverse experience of having worked with some renowned Indian and international hotels.
Chef Sridhar’s area of expertise is Modern European cuisine. He has won a certificate of success as Chef De Partie at the Spirit of Hilton in UK. Blending his rich experience with the flavors of all the restaurants he has worked at, Chef Sridhar believes that the secret to creating some of the most special recipes with a unique flavor comes from this unique hobby of experimenting with various ingredients.
Chef Sridhar believes that his impeccable attention to minute details and hard work, has led to his success in the hospitality field. He will be a welcome addition at The Grand Mercure Bengaluru.
