A journalist (PGD in Journalism from Indian Institute of Journalism and New Media (IIJNM), Bangalore) and an avid blogger, Swati considers writing as a powerful tool with which one can provide lot of information to their interested genre of readers. Her interest in food, wine and spirits and journalism took her to pursue a career in this field and led her to begin her very own blog, Nosh ‘n’ Plonk.

Nosh ‘n’ Plonk is a place where she wants people to come, read and get an idea as well as knowledge about their food and drinks. She focuses more on the knowledge about the history, ingredients and structure of the food that are relished each day.

Currently, Swati is working with The Wine Club and previously was associated with Food Lovers magazine. She has interned with The New Indian Express. Apart from these, she has also freelanced with couple of other magazines and websites.
