Detox – Good or Bad?

The detoxification process involves removal of toxic and harmful substances and cleansing of the skin, kidneys and colon. A healthy liver, kidney, skin, lymphatic and bowel function is essential in preventing toxic build up in the body. Our bodies are constantly under great deal of toxic stress due to environmental pollutants found in the air we breathe, the food we eat and product we use. As a result, harmful toxins can become trapped in our system and impair our overall health and well being.
