Get Fit the Alia Bhatt Way – Lose 16 Kg in 3 Months

She is the new bombshell in Bollywood! With 2 successful movies directed by maestros like Karan Johar and Imtiaz Ali, Alia Bhatt is currently the hottest and most wanted actress in the tinsel town. But, before she stepped into the limelight, she was a cute chubby little star kid with oodles of fat layers on her body. Alia was asked by KJo to shed 16 kilos before she could work with him. The sizzling beauty we see today, has worked very hard to look glorious and fit.

The Highway gal had focused on weight training along with cardio training to tone the muscles along with burning her excess fat. The actress used to do 3 sets of all the exercises with 15-20 repetition in each set. Other than her regular gyming, she also did running, swimming, altitude training and kick-boxing. Shedding 16 kilos that too in just three months was not easy; she had to give up on some of her favorite food too. She followed a high protein, low-carb diet.

Alia made a grand entry into Bollywood with The Student Of The Year and got noticed for her looks and sharp acting talent. Her performance in Highway was highly praised as well.

Even though she has lost her flab, she continues to work hard to look fit. 30-45 min of cardio workout is what she does every day along with some other activities like altitude and weight training and ashtanga yoga.

Yoga helps her keep her glowing skin and stay calm. She also loves to dance and explore other forms of dance; her favorite dance forms are Kathak and ballet. Although, her diet has been changed a bit now, she is now allowed to have noodles or soft drinks or fries and burger occasionally.
