Well, I’m a simple girl, not really brought up in a different household! I belong to a normal middle class family but yes, I have been given all the values from my family that makes u a good human being.

I used to dream about being a Miss India! Friends used to make fun of me then, so I never thought of following it. But, once I got a chance during my college where I participated in a beauty pageant and after that there was no looking back. God helps those who help themselves. With my parents support I reached where I am today. Things kept happening and acting just happened by chance. But, I had never thought of taking it as a career.

My family has always supported me no matter what… They have always been proud of me! Still are!

Yes, I was nervous! I still get nervous when I have to audition or search a new place in Mumbai! Home is home after all!

I never knew the show was going to be named as Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Du… But it feels great to be a part of the show. Also, that it is a woman oriented show which deals with issues like domestic violence, female feticide and at the same time it’s also a love Story, I was more drawn magnetically towards it.

Well, it’s a journey! I haven’t thought of a destination. I’m still learning a lot everyday.

It has always been Aishwarya Rai Bachchan since childhood.

Yes, I do sing but I don’t think I’m trained enough to pursue it as a career. I love singing, it’s my stress buster.

Well, opportunities are always welcomed. If I get a chance in Bollywood why not grab it?

As I say in my show it’s an honor to be a woman! If at all through my show I changed someone’s life I will feel successful and happy.
