Know your body shape

The most embarrassing moment for any lady is when she put on weight and which can be noticed easily. The fats deposits on various parts of the body like on the shoulders, chest, waist, abdomen, hips and thighs. In any of the place if fat increases more the whole body becomes shapeless. The shape of the body depends upon the hormones; it has power to control your shape. In young age we do have liberty to eat anything and youngster’s choice is junk foods which have more of fats and less nutritional value. As age increases the hormonal changes take place some hormone becomes strong and some becomes weak. The day fat starts depositing on specific place it is a sign that the fat burning hormone has started becoming weak.

Once the hormonal regulation become irregular the body starts becoming shapeless. The hormones required to burn fat when become weak the fat may deposit on abdomen, waist, hips etc. which gives a typical shape to your body. There are different shapes of obesity like having pear shaped, apple shaped belly or one may look boxy. Having any of this kind of body shape is very dangerous. Individual having this kind of obesity are prone to many dangerous diseases. And all this happens because of hormonal imbalance which slows down the metabolism.

Apple Shape Body

The belly especially looks like apple that is more of the fats deposited on belly, humps can be observed on upper back, shape of the face may be round and legs looks slimmer than the body. Apple shaped individual should lose their weight by eating low calorie diet. Too much exercise does not work for them as it leads to starvation. During starvation cortisol increases that is responsible increasing belly fat and waist size. High blood pressure, diabetes, breast cancer, heart disease are some of the risks to apple shaped body.

To remain healthy Apple shaped should have food low in carbs. Carbohydrates are responsible for increasing glycemic index. This also controls the cortisol production. One should have more of proteins like lentils which have protein as well as provide more energy. Eggplant is a substitute of carbs and many other foods have good amount of protein.

Pear Shape Body

Pear shaped body have more of the fats deposited on the hips, thighs and butt region. To deposit fat on these places it takes time but once it is deposited it becomes difficult to get rid of. Estrogen is responsible for making fat. During pregnancy, heavy menstrual cycle estrogen hormone is released more which in turn makes more of fat and that get deposited in the body. It is observed that after delivering a baby many mothers are not able to reduce weight it is because this kind of fat is difficult to burn. They have higher risk of osteoporosis.

Food rich in fiber is good for pear shaped body. Fiber helps to retain the estrogen by binding it into the gut. One should eat fig, whole wheat pasta, fruits, soyabeans etc.
