Okay I must admit, lipsticks are my most favorite in the makeup world. I love the way they smell, taste, feel and I love the pretty names that they are given.  The best part is there are so many shades to chose from. There’s a color for everyone, every occasion and yes every mood. Wearing a pretty color on your lips can change your look completely. Not only do they come in different colors, but different textures too. Matte, shimmer, gloss, satin and each and every one of them are yummy. Often I use  just a lip pencil or a lip tint. And when I want the perfect pout I use a pencil and then a lipstick and then a nice lip gloss on top.

Lipstick Rules??

There are absolutely no rules as to which color one must wear. But yes, it’s important to have a few nude shades, a color close to your natural lip color handy. Most women prefer wearing a sober natural color during the day. A light brown, a pretty pink, a peachy color, but hey there are absolutely no rules. I wear bright reds and deep purple for work very often. Mixing a few shades together can also give you a pretty color. So play around with your colors.

A lot of women do prefer using darker colors in the evening and nights. But as I said there are absolutely no rules. Just wear the color that your heart desires. Another thing to keep in mind is the fact that a color that looks good on some one else may not look the same on you.

So go ahead, paint your lips, use that pout and conquer the world!
