It all started in the first year of my college. I participated in beauty pageants and fashion contests and won them with effortless ease. Each win got me reward as money. I saw it as my stepping stone towards reaching higher platforms as an artist. I hosted several corporate events, women and student empowerment workshops. Did shoots extensively for magazines and designer clothing until I got my first job as an International Travel show host.

I think it’s all a form of self expression, a platform to voice my opinion and tell the stories and experience that I really want to share with the World.

Since childhood, one of my craziest and most passionate dreams was to see the entire World. I was just so curious about every damn thing in the World. People, Culture, languages, food, lifestyle and you name it. Since fourth grade, as I recollect, I wanted to travel. I had a deep passion and appreciation for everything that there is in the World. Well I hosted shows for Travelxp – India’s first exclusive International Travel Channel. I traveled to many countries of Europe, South East Asia and Middle East hosting this show. The whole experience of interacting with different cultures evolved me as a person. It made me appreciate life more than ever. These shows showcased me exploring the most beautiful islands, castles, cathedrals, Alps, desserts and historic landmarks as well as activities like adventure sports, mouth watering cuisines, world’s best hotels, resorts and exotic cruises. Having absolutely no support or backing from the film and television industry, I had no idea how to pursue my carrier as an artist. So, I did what everybody else does. I auditioned for the jobs you think are meant for you. So, yes I got this show through an audition. After graduating from M.S University, as an Bachelor of Business Administration, I enrolled for a diploma course in studio training for acting and film making. Three months after the completion of this program, I got through the audition and got this amazing opportunity to see the World. I seized my first big break with open arms. I am forever grateful for that.

I think Venice is by far the most beautiful city in the World and next comes Rome. So, Italy steals the show by a long shot. The sculptures, the art, the music, the food and the people! One can’t ask for more.

The most interesting shoots of my life would definitely be the one that took place in Norway in 2010. Witnessing the midnight sun at 2 am and crossing the Arctic Circle through the pristine diamond like snow clad mountains and crystal clear blue waters. It is majestic! I was in awe of God’s Creativity…so happy, energized and radiating freshness with every breath. That was the best shoot of my life.

My personal style is very feminine. It’s all about accentuating my best features with comfort and class. I dress according to my body type. My closet is full of elegant dresses, sarees and gowns. But nevertheless, just to save time I occasionally slip in jeans and tank top.

I love reading, meditating, listening to instrumental music, working out, cycling and belly dancing.

Modeling in my mind is the means to reach to an end. It is just one step towards a journey, empowering you to do bigger things and make a difference. It could be in films or business or any other industry. Take it from there and make it Big. It’s just one baby step towards the World of Possibilities and it is just the beginning.
