And the wait is over!! Biopic M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, based on Indian Cricketer is released today. Though everyone know the story in brief, it would be less of an Indian if we don’t know how a popular Cricketer with his grit and determination stood on top world list of performers.

Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the biopic is well portrayed emotionally and passionately by Sushant Singh Rajput as Dhoni. The story revolves around how a small town boy struggles with his life, with his dreams to become an Cricketer and not the Train Ticket Examiner! It is about how a common man transformed his life into an legendary example. His life for Cricket, the influence of a woman, his family and friends and the obstructions he faced explained well in the flick in precise.

A conservative father (Anupam Kher) who wants his son to soar high on fields which are easily accessible. A sister (Bhumika Chawla) who understands what her brother wants in his life. Then there are his friends who are proud to be MS Dhoni’s friend for his talent and his sure to come glory. Disha Patani and Kiara Advani as lovers get some good space in the reel but we expected more cricket and less of a love life. Dhoni controversies are little touched! The first half reminds us that how your ambitions go into reality if you chase them; what let us down is the second half – but thanks to the Rajput’s performance, he’s got into the skin of Dhoni!

The background music and the Cricket matches will pump you up with pride and respect. Though this might not be the best of Neeraj Pandeys’ innings, it is certainly a good knock. As said before, a little less of personal and more of controversies and profession of MS Dhoni would have made it one of the best flick to watch for coming weeks! One time watch to banta hai!
