Chili Rellenos Casserole

Method of Preparation
  • Preheat an oven to 350⁰F / 135⁰C.
  • Take a 9 in x 13 in baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In the bottom of the baking dish lay half of the chilies.
  • Sprinkle over with half the jack and cheddar cheese and cover on top with remaining chilies.
  • In a large bowl mix together the eggs, milk and flour.
  • Pour the mixture over the top of the chilies.
  • Place the try in the oven and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Once baked remove from oven and pour tomato sauce evenly over the top.
  • Put the try back into the oven and back for 15 minutes.
  • Remove and sprinkle with remaining jack and cheddar cheese and serve hot.
