Avengers : Age Of The Ultron

This time around, I really wouldn’t beat around the bush speaking about the plot – pretty much the way the movie goes. Starting off with a well crafted action sequence, Avengers – Age of the Ultron gets straight to the point. The movie is, in my opinion, not as much about the plot as it is about the treat of avengers doing what they do the best – which is totally worth it.

What I really liked about the movie was that the build up story of the “Ultron” was blended well into the course of the film. As a result, the pace was not hampered while you still get whats happening. The movie does lack originality in parts with the rise-and-fall-and-rise routine of the avengers and X-men-y characters joining in but don’t let that mislead you any which way. Marvel successfully delivers what it promised – some amazing action sequences (a lot more this time around thankfully), some interesting dashes of emotions with the Nat-Banner chemistry and the secret family life of Hawkeye, interesting conversations on human behaviour which we would generally miss and just the right amount of humour.

The movie will be a treat for all Marvel fans. All the characters play their role just as fabulously and being a fan myself, its tough for me to pick out just one. Robert Downey Jr. is amazing as always, the bike ride with Scarlett Johansson was an absolute oh-so-cool, the quirk that the script generally brings in with the Hulk is an all time favorite – and as you see, I am still high on the movie! 🙂

Special mention – Whedon, who I feel has done great justice to the concept and the execution and Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen, who add an interesting touch to the movie (As the lightening fast Quicksilver and the fire-hurling Scarlet Witch) and have played their part really well.

All in all, I’d say – if you are a Marvel / Super-hero flick fan, go book your tickets right-right-now!!
