Baby Review

Review:

After a long long time, there is finally a release that was really a pleasure to watch. Clean, slick, fast-paced and an edge-of-your-seat thriller – this is how I would describe the movie in a few words.

Neeraj Pandey, just as I had hoped for, has done an amazing job with the direction. It is neat and keeps the viewer hooked onto the movie. Even though the story has a very grim underline, the humour trickles down into the screenplay very aptly. Extremely well-edited, the movie completely justified its run-time.

Even with such a huge star cast, the roles are absolutely crisp and well-crafted. Each actor fits the character perfectly and is not exaggerated is most cases. Akshay Kumar ties the movie and various characters together really well. He looks his part and has executed the role with ease and conviction. Danny and Anupam Kher, even in their comparatively shorter roles, are a treat to watch. Madhurima Tuli does not have too much of screen time as most actors on the cast but has a very impactful role as a wife of a pro-active officer.

I did spot a few glitches along the course of the movie, but they would hardly be important as the pace of the movie will not give you much of an analysis time. You would really be wondering whats happening next. So, all-in-all, a super must watch. Do not think even twice before you book your seat at your nearest theatre.
