Review

D for Drama, D for Dimple and D for Deepika! The movie is all about these three. Sorry… all about the 5 characters that hold the story so strongly that you won’t like to miss a second of it. The movie is interestingly scripted and has some of the most passionate characters you have ever met.

Based in a village called Pokolim, a place that is lost from the map due to its still and leisurely lifestyle, the 5 characters suddenly have something to look up for, when Fredie’s love letter to Stefanie Fernandes aka Fanny, comes back unopened after 46 years.

Determined to help Ferdie find his answer, Angie ropes in her mother-in-law, Savio and Pedro to find Fanny. They set up on a destination-less mission only to bring you humor and a perfect play.

Every single thing, script, direction, dialogues and acting, the film has perfected every single attribute of it. Finding Fanny is a Flawless film, something very rarely seen these days. It is simply unbelievable that the Director who made Cocktail would make a film like Finding Fanny. Excellent direction yet again, no loopholes at all in the script and yes…. the dialogues will surely win your heart. Needless to say, Pankaj Kapoor has some of the wittiest lines of all.

All 5 actors have given their superbly best performances, with Dimple and Deepika reigning over the men’s hearts. Naseeruddin Shah, portraits perfectly the character of a depressed lover and even a young talent like Arjun has roved his mettle here.

The movie is a Must Watch for all those who love to watch a different film. Believe me… Finding Fanny is truly special and Different.
