Life in the Royal House of Rathore’s is a mess! With the king restrained to the wheelchair, a seemingly strict Queen, a frustrated daughter and an overly busy prince Vikram Rathore (Fawad Khan). Enter Mili (Sonam Kapoor) a high-profile physiotherapist to treat the father and also bringing alive, the royal family with her magic wand. But, somewhere here, the Prince falls in love with this absolutely crazy physiotherapist. Will their Love win the hearts of all?

Khoobsurat is like a Fairytale story, just like the ones we usually have read as kids, with a handsome prince and a beautiful girl who unknowingly fall in love with each other. And then starts the melodrama of the two lovers, trying to come together against all odds to live the Happily Ever After end.

The film has a refreshing start and keeps you thrilled and giggling throughout the first half. But sadly, in the second half, the story goes absolutely off the hooks. It seems as if the characters have lost track if the plot and their roles. Things get messy and somehow manage to come to an end. Without these loopholes, the film would surely have won a lot of appreciation.

Coming to performances, Fawad Khan fits-in perfectly into the role of Prince Vikram Rathore and shines with his supreme performance. On the other hand, Sonam does her best with the new look, funky clothes and absolutely mad performance. At times, you will realize her to go a bit too far with her acting skills, making the scenes look absolutely unappealing. Ratna Pathak and Kirron Kher, without the slightest doubt give their perfect performances, making you smile every time they appear on the screen.

Girls…will simply love the film for Sonam’s wardrobe. You will see her in an absolutely unconventional look, adoring the dhoti pants with a lot of grace and style. Above all, Khoobsurat is a one-time watch film, especially for those who love, love stories.
