Story

Seenu (Varun Dhawan) is the main character and lives in Ooty. He is the most notorious guy in his town and also a college drop out. He wishes to continue his education in a Bangalore based college. He falls madly in love with a girl named Sunaina (Ileana D’Cruz) who is forced to get married to a local gangster called Angad (Arunoday Singh). On the other hand, Seenu has another lover called Ayesha (Nargis Fakhri) who was saved once by Seenu from some gangsters.

Ayesha’s father decides to kidnap Sunaina and have his daughter get married to seenu. Finally, whom does he marry?;

Review

‘Main Tera Hero’ is a total mindless film, but still quite entertaining. In one line, it is a typical David Dhawan entertainment film with lots of humor in its story. The plot has a lot of twists, turns and entertainment that has not been seen in the recent films. As I said, it is a mindless comedy, where goons and gangsters instantly act as comic characters.

Varun Dhawan pulls of the story perfectly. The first half of the film is entirely about him, showing off how Varun is one of the best actors of the new generation. Ileana and Nargis do justice to their roles, and are more like eye-candies for the audience. Arunoday struggles as a comical villain while Anupam Kher is great.

Well, if you are looking forward to enjoying your weekend and relax with your partner, then ‘Main Tera Hero’ surely deserves a shot.
