Singh Is Bling

Note: This movie is dangerous to your health!

What happened to logical Indian films, movies with a great script, excellent actors and some real stomach tickling comedy? Well, they just vanished from the face of earth or better say Bollywood!

Singh Is Bling, by Prabhudeva, is one of the most illogical movies we have seen in the recent times. The movie is trash without any story, no strong characters and absolutely no acting skills. I wonder why the film was even made at the first place.

Rati Agnihotri, plays the role of mother to Akshay Kumar (Raftar Singh), a typical gaonwala with a Huge Heart who lives with his absolutely colorful family in a small village in Punjab. However, Raftar has one big problem – He leaves everything half done. Tired of his son, Raftaar’s father gives him 2 options to choose from. Either marry an oversized girl from the village or go to Goa and start a job. In the mean time, Sara (Amy Jackson) daughter of a Don has become the latest obsession of Mark (Kay Kay Menon) another underworld Don. But now, he has to be extra cautious from his new enemy, Guess Who – Apna Raftaar Singh. Wondering how…When… Why??? This is why I said the movie is illogical. The story goes on…bringing in Lara Dutta as Emily (a translator) who has a fetish for hitting men in their balls, and that too, only at Night! Weird?? Exactly! The movie drags on and almost everyone prays for it to end, not being able to digest the trauma.

The dialogues in the movie are nothing refreshing. You will finish the dialogues before Akshay. The characters have been very badly written. The actors are helpless and have no role to play. I wonder why Prabhudeva made this film as it only looks like a disaster to the audience.
