Tamasha… the movie has been one of the most awaited flicks to be released this year. Not just because it was a Ranbir and Deepika film or an Imtiaz Ali story, but for several reasons. Firstly, it is Ranbir’s only chance to strike back at the box-office charts this year; Secondly, this is Imtiaz Ali’s next film as Director after Highway, and as for Deepika, this is one of her several big releases this year, including the upcoming film, Bajirao Mastani.

Talking of Tamasha, the movie has a splendid story, excellent cast and some good music by none other than A.R. Rehman. Written by Imtiaz Ali, it is an unusual Love Story, with both Deepika and Ranbir giving in their best performances. Although Deepika has a comparatively lesser screen space, she simply happens to steal the limelight away.

The story is about Ved (Ranbir) and Tara (Deepika) who happen to meet each other in an exotic island in France. They lie about themselves and plan never to meet again after getting back to their regular life. But, that’s when Love strikes. To see what happens thereafter, you need to watch the film in the theater to enjoy the twists and smoothness of the story. Trust me.. you will fall in love with the characters and the flick!

Overall, the movie has been a refreshing experience for me and the rest of the audience in the theater.
