Quick Rawa And Vegetable Dhokla
Ingredients
- 1¼cups
- ½ cup
- 2 cups
- 2 tsp
- 1½tsp
- 1 Tbsp + for greasing

For Tempering
- 1 Tbsp
- 1 tsp
- 1 tsp
- a pinch
- 8-10
- 1
Method of Preparation
- In a bowl mix together the semolina, buttermilk, vegetables, and ginger-green chilli paste.
- Set aside for half an hour and grease a thali.
- Now boil sufficient water in a steamer.
- Add to the batter fruit salt, 1 tsp oil, salt and mix well.
- Pour into the greased thali and steam for 10-15 minutes.
- Allow to cool and cut into squares or diamonds.
For Tempering
- In a small non stick pan heat oil and add mustard seeds.
- Once they splutter, add sesame seeds asafetida, curry leaves and dried red chilies.
- Pour the tempering over the Dhokla and serve warm.
