Quick Rawa And Vegetable Dhokla

Ingredients
  • 1¼cups
  • ½ cup
  • 2 cups
  • 2 tsp
  • 1½tsp
  • 1 Tbsp + for greasing
  • to taste
For Tempering
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp
  • a pinch
  • 8-10
  • 1
Method of Preparation
  • In a bowl mix together the semolina, buttermilk, vegetables, and ginger-green chilli paste.
  • Set aside for half an hour and grease a thali.
  • Now boil sufficient water in a steamer.
  • Add to the batter fruit salt, 1 tsp oil, salt and mix well.
  • Pour into the greased thali and steam for 10-15 minutes.
  • Allow to cool and cut into squares or diamonds.
For Tempering
  • In a small non stick pan heat oil and add mustard seeds.
  • Once they splutter, add sesame seeds asafetida, curry leaves and dried red chilies.
  • Pour the tempering over the Dhokla and serve warm.
