Chicken Stew

Method of Preparation
  • Dissolve the oats in 1/4 cups of vegetable stock and keep aside.
  • Heat a non-stick saucepan on medium flam. Add the onions dry roast until lightly browned; stirring continously.
  • Add peppercorns, clove and cinnamon stick and dry roast for 1 minute; stirring continously.
  • Add garlic, french beans, babycorn, carrots, chicken, salt and the remining vegetable stock.
  • Cook on low heat until the vegetable are soft and tender.
  • Add mushrooms and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Add the oats and vegetable stock mixture and bring to boil, while stirring continuously so that no lumps remain.
  • Simmer for 5 to 7 minutes;add water if required.
  • Serve hot in a deep dish.
