Steamed Modak
Ingredients

Method of Preparation
- Firstly, mix both the flours and knead it well.
- Boil 2/3 cup of water and add a pinch of salt in it along with ghee and mix with flour mixture.
- Cover it and keep aside.
- Take a large pan and mix jaggery and coconut. Stir it until jaggery melts.
- Add poppy seeds and cardamom powder and nut in it.
- Take flour mixture in wet hands and make a small round dough balls.
- Make a small bowl size shape, now stuff filling & make plates around the stuffing.
- Gather all the plates at the center of stuffing and seal the edges.
- Now, pour approximately 1 inch water in an Idly cooker.
- Place a small dish on the round pot of cooker and cover it with a wet cloth.
- Place the modaks on colth and steam it for around 10 minutes on a medium heat.
- Garnish with ghee.
