Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is going to play a double role in director Sooraj Barjatya’s upcoming film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Salman will be working with the director after 15 years. He will be playing two characters – Prem and Vijay, in the upcoming film. He has worked with Sooraj Barjatya in films like Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun and Hum Sath-Sath Hain. The actor’s on-screen name in these movies was also ‘Prem’ in all of them.

“Salman will be playing double role in the film. We have had Dilip Kumar play double role in Ram Aur Shyam, Salman in Judwa, both the characters were positive. There will be difference between the two characters but none of them is negative, both the roles are positive. He will be playing entertaining characters,” said a source close to the actor.

He further said, “Neil Nitin Mukesh will be playing Salman’s brother, Swara Bhaskar his sister and Deepak Dobriyal will be his friend. Sanjay Mishra and Anupam Kher too will be seen in the film in interesting roles.”

Sonam Kapoor will be the leading lady in the film. The film is set to release in Diwali 2015.
