Review

This is the debut movie of director Sayed Ahmad Afzal, but he does a pretty decent work and is able to narrate the story well. At no point will you find the movie loosing the grip or getting too dramatic. It flows through the time smoothly.

The movie has been released at a very peak time, with the nation preparing itself for the upcoming elections. This is one reason why it may get more attention than the other releases such as O Teri and Dishkiyaaon.

Talking of performances, Jackky Bhagnani is a decent actor and does his role well. Neha Sharma is a glam doll and doesn’t have much of a role in the film. Farooq sheikh, who recently passed away, plays the role of the Prime Minister’s secretary and gives the best performance of his career. The music is soothing and enjoyable.

Overall, Youngistaan surely deserves a watch. It is a movie that will prepare you for the upcoming elections.
