Main Aur Mr Riight Review

Story

A Romantic-Comedy, Main Aur Mr. Riight is all about the crazy Bachelorhood days, Relationships, and Love. The story revolves around Sukhi (Barun Sobti) and Aliya (Shenaz) and is about Miss Right looking for her Mr. Right… but do they really exist? If you have the patience to wait for an answer you already know, spending 2 hours on the movie may just seem meaningless.

Review

With 2 hours spent in the film, all I can actually scratch my head and write is, this movie can be skipped. Well, this week we have 2 movie releases, both although with different niches but none of them appealing enough for the masses to watch. Now that I have watched this one here for 2 hours, here is whatsoever review I could come up with.

Aliya (Shenaz) is a perfecto Bollywood casting agent who is always in her best shoes. Wearing a perfect dress and perfect hairdo, she is looking for her Mr. Right but sadly ends up with mad dates and men. Here enters Sukhi (Barun) a typical Punjabi guy with an accent and Guess what…click click click…we know what the next scenes will be.

The movie looks completely scripted, except a few scenes that actually add some attraction to the film. Bollywood debutant and TV serial heartthrob Barun Sobti, does a commendable job in his role but that’s not enough to carry the film till the end. Shenaz on the other hand, lacks depth and has simply not improved since her last film, Ishq Vishq.

This makes me thinking… was the OPEN LETTER that was released just 2 days prior to the film release, just a way to seek attention of people or did she really mean every word she wrote in it? Above all, this week, it’s better you spend time with family at home rather than watching any of the films.
