For every woman, her wedding day marks a very important aspect in her life. She will no doubt want to it to be the best day. The days leading to the wedding are often hectic and involve a lot of hard work.  If you are planning to get married in the near future, you might want to plan everything to be absolutely perfect. It is not necessary that you book a wedding planner. You can plan your D-day to make it picture perfect wedding.  Planning everything in advance will be very helpful as you will have time to make changes if the need arises.

  • It is important that you have a planned budget. Decide on the amount of money you want to spend on your wedding. This depends entirely on you and your spouse to be. Try not to filter all your money away.
  • Book your wedding venue in advance if you are getting married in the marriage season.  Remember to book the venue depending on the number of guests you are expecting.
  • Plan your reception. It is important that you sample the food that will be served. This will save you from embarrassing moments. Make sure that the caterer is used to provide for weddings. Order in such a way that there is no shortage of food.
  • If you intend to have a theme-based wedding, then pass on your requirements to the decorator.
  • Select your wedding invitation card. Get your invite printed in clear words to avoid confusion later on.
  • Send the invites in advance giving time for people who are far off to arrive in time
  • Book your photographer and videographer in advance.  Make sure to remind them to save the date and do follow ups regularly.
  • If you intend to hold the wedding in a lawn or on the beach, plan something to avoid the rains. You definitely don’t want to be clicked with makeup running down your face. And dripping guests don’t look good either in the video.
  • Order your wedding cake.
  • Choose your wedding car.
  • Plan the outfits for your bridesmaid and have them sent for fittings.
  • Get a friend to help you with deciding your wedding trousseau and your wedding dress. Go in for regular fitting sessions.
  • It is necessary to look beautiful on your D-day and to help you with this, get the services of a beautician and a hairdresser. Go in for a trial session to see if the specific get up suits you.
  • Buy the necessary and matching accessories.
  • Remember to keep your dress safe. Ensure that your dress remains crease-free.
  • If you are expecting any out-station guests, arrange for their transport and accommodation.

These points will help you plan your wedding in a proper way. But the most important thing you need to remember is to keep yourself totally stress-free. Spend time with your family. Laugh and enjoy your time. Pamper yourself. Remember to eat and drink properly. The day before the wedding, relax.  This is because brides are often known to get pre-wedding jitters. Get a good night’s sleep. Wake up refreshed, confident and enjoy the best day in your life.
