Fighting for Rights on the Human Rights Day

Celebrated all across the world on the 10th of December, Human Rights Day is considered as one of the most important days celebrated by organizations in the world. The day has been celebrated every year all across the world ever since its creation in 1950 by the UN General Assembly. But, the question we ask today is, “Are we successful in making the day count in true sense”?

With growing humanity issues and crime, it seems just out of our hands to fight for humanity and make the world a better place. Every single day we read about how the weaker section or sex is being abused for simple social matters. For instance, a servant rejected for regular wages, a small girl abused just because she asked for education, a physically handicapped boy not offered schooling and studies because of his inabilities, and so on! These are just a few of the stories that we may come across every single day. But today, you can make a special attempt to fight for Humanity and help people around you. Raise your voice for such important social issues and make the world a better place for not just us, but also every individual in the society.

How do you make a difference?

Share your joy with old abandoned parents in old age homes, gift education to little orphan children and help small organizations that fight for human rights. Conduct small campaigns and learn about the issues faced by people in your city. Raise your voice for their rights and help them achieve the basic necessities of life.

So, this Human Rights Day lets join our hands together and fight for social causes to make the world a free, beautiful and happy place for everyone. A Happy Human Rights Day to all of you!
