22 year old Firoz Fatma becomes the first female participant to become a crorepati at Kaun Banega Crorepat 7. A resident of Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Fatma is a BSc student who simply participated in this quiz show with a small hope of winning little money which will help her repay the loans taken by her deceased father.
Until the last minute, Fatma had lost all her hope of making it to the hot seat and winning some money. But, her knowledge not only helped her get to the hot seat but also become a crorepati. After reaching her aim, she sad, “I was very nervous when I wasn’t able to make it to the hot seat in the second last episode and felt I have to go home empty-handed. But then I aced the fastest finger first round and made my way to the hot seat. Also, I didn’t feel as the 1 crore winner until the audience clapped and Bachchanji hugged me. It is a great feeling”.
She further said that the money won, will help her study further and repay all the loans. This will help her and her mother live their life without any worries.
Interestingly, this was the last episode for the season which will also feature Amitabh Bachchan in a double role, as oneself and as Lallan Bhaiya.
The last episode will be aired on the 1st of Dec.
