The ‘Mere Dad Ki Maruti’ actress, on Wednesday tweeted that a “well dressed” man tried to manhandle her while she was having a walk in her building compound at 5 PM.

She also expressed her anger on the security guard of her society who was lazy in acting on the moment, this forced her to kick the man hard and then scream. Rhea is trained in martial arts. The actress went file a FIR at Khar Police Station and also seen the CCTV footage. The police said actress has been “helpful and supportive”.

Rhea tweeted, “Is anyone going to bother, elections are round the corner! Mumbai is suffocatingly unsafe. Can a girl not walk in to her own building at 5 pm? Where is the f*****g guarantee of not getting molested?”
