The winner of the first American Idol, aired 2002 Kelly Clarkson is planning to get herself knotted this October. She will be marrying her fiance Brandon Blackstock, who proposed her in December 2012.

She said that she will be getting married in October and so she and her partner are very busy with all arrangements. She is also happy to get framed in her first after wedding Christmas celebrations.

In an interview Clarkson told Ryan Seacrest, “I have a 12-year-old and a 6-year-old now … after being single for six years! We all live together and everything … it’s so different, but it’s perfect. They’re awesome and I actually really dig the mom thing … I am quick to go, ‘I told you not to touch that!’ … I am totally my mom. My mom was a hard mom.”

According to a source quoted in US Weekly, Kelly is planning her wedding mostly by herself and she also wants it to be personal and private. Hope she is not exhausted by the time she actually walks-up her aisle.
