India Thrash New Zealand To Win The 2013 Women Kabaddi World Cup

The Indian women kabaddi team showed the world why they are champions and why they deserve to win the 2013 Women Kabaddi World Cup. With this win Indian women kabaddi team has made three World Cups in a row now.

India dominated for the major part of the extremely competitive game at the Guru Gobind Singh sports complex. However, the debutants New Zealanders did tried to bounce back. But it was too late and they finished second to the best in the tournament. The final score read 49-21.

The prize of INR 1 crore was awarded to the team along with many other awards that Indian players bagged in. Best stopper and best raider were Anu Rani and Ram Bateri respectively; they both were awarded with a Maruti Alto as prize.
