The megastar of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan launched the Hindi trailer of ‘Kochadaiiyaan’. The movie has Amitabh’s close friend and south Superstar Rajinikanth. The trailer was launched by both superstars at suburban multiplex.

Kochadaiiyaan is directorial debut of Ranjnikanth’s daughter Soundarya. Kochadaiiyaan is produced on the platform on which Hollywood blockbusters like ‘The Adventures of Tin-tin’ and ‘Avatar’ have been produced. It is India’s first of this kind production, the technology is known as performance capturing technology; it is hi-tech 3D with photo-realistic motion capture technology.

The Bhootnath actor said, “I am finding it difficult to find words to what we have witnessed now. Firstly, I will like to acknowledge that it is a woman who has directed this kind of a movie. With the kind of struggle our nation is going through (regards to women) it is commendable that Soundarya has done this and showed that women in India are capable to do best.”

Soundarya said that she was very happy as Mr Bachchan had released the Hindi trailer of the film. Rajinikath will be seen in triple role along with Deepika Padukone as his leading lady. The other big names present at the launch were Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, filmmakers like Shekar Kapur, Ramesh Sippy, Subhash Ghai, R Balki along with Kajol and Anupam Kher.

Shekar Kapur heard talking to Soundarya “I saw the glimpse of the trailer and told Rajinikanth how he should be proud of you for what you have done and achieved. It is a game-changer for Indian cinema. We are proud of you.”

“Soundarya you are the star,” said the director R Balki after he saw the trailer. He also said “trailer is miraculous and is eagerly looking forward to the release of the film.”

“I am privileged to be here with the big guns of Indian cinema. I congratulate and am proud of Soundarya for taking our cinema a step ahead. I wish all the success to the film,” said filmmaker Ramesh Sippy. ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ will take the viewers to an adventurous musical journey in 3D technology; it is a step upward for Indian cinema.

The music of the film was launched in Chennai by Shah Rukh Khan. The film is all set to release this summer.
