Kapil Sharma, who hosts a hit chat show ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’, has signed a three-film contract with Yash Raj Films. He is ready to make his film debut with a movie named ‘Bank-Chor’, which will go on floors in April.

Kapil said in an interview, “It’s a privilege and a dream to be part of the YRF family and have my launch with their Youth Films Studio, Y-Films. The script is the most exciting part since it’s the kind of role that’s very unlike the stereotype of a comedian or what people could typecast me as.”

He further added, “I’ve always loved and watched thrillers and this is a thriller comedy, so it’s even better.” He tells that he has started working on his character in the movie.

Kapil has done some serious theatre before comedy and after a gap of 12 years; he is ready to surprise his fans again.

Bank-Chor is a story of three people who choose the wrong day to rob a bank. The story takes a turn when the trio gets caught in crossfire of police, corrupt politicians and industrialists.
