Keeping Secrets From Your Husband Is Difficult

Keeping secrets from your husband is easier said than practiced. However, much a woman tries not to reveal or confide, she would blurt out the information in just a matter of a few hours. The reason for this is the closeness or the intimacy shared.

Just as it is easy for a lady to read her husband’s thoughts and feelings, a man too can assess his wife’s behavior and body language, when she tries to hide things from him. In many cases, men question their wives about it.

At times when a lady wants to surprise her husband by organizing a special treat, the task of getting others to co-operate can be quite tough.

As long as the marriage and family life is not disturbed in any way, hiding a few facts is permissible. Perhaps, making up after being caught may strengthen the bond.

Again, the concept of secrecy with your companion is such a delicate and personal issue that a woman alone can decide if keeping secrets from her better-half would be right or wrong. We hear about both types of results. Men may understand and accept a woman’s secrecy about her past, but can he accept his wife doing so?

Many experts have varied opinions regarding “white lies”

The reasons for hiding a fleeting desire: Being married does not stop a man or woman feel a sudden liking for a third person. They may not be open about it and hence, it is better to be quiet about it than hurt your spouse’s feelings. As long as one does not act on the fantasy – All is well in the home front.

Be truthful about your purchases: Once in a while, if a woman hides her shopping spree fearing a showdown, it is acceptable. But, if the same happens repeatedly, prepare to bear the heat.

Should a woman share their friend’s secrets with her husband? Very often ladies share their friends’ secrets with their husbands. As long the man keeps quiet and does not stretch his imaginations; life at home will be safe.

An occasional hiding of facts from your man to save him from feeling hurt is allowed. What matters is the transparency and understanding about your spouse that helps in a happy marriage.
