A rape victim was shot dead by some unknown people within court premises yesterday in Matura, Uttar Pradesh. The 25 year old woman was raped by god-man named Govindanand Teerath three years ago.

The rape victim was on her way to court to give a statement for her case. Her mother who accompanied her to the court was injured badly in firing and is at present admitted to a hospital in Aligarh district.

The police department have caught two men for questioning about the case. The police is not yet sure who is responsible for the attack. They have arrested another god-man, Bhagirathi Baba as a suspect. His motive behind the killing the woman is not yet clear.

However, the Mathura police has been failed to explain why they didn’t arrest god-man, Govindanand Teerath, despite the complaint filed by the victim three years ago.
