Yeast Over-Growth

Yeast Overgrowth can Exhaust You

Yeast overgrowth can be quite harmful if it is not caught in time. Unlike bacteria, yeast is a highly advanced form that can be the cause of a wide range of symptoms and can also make you sick. Our intestines are lined with different types of bacteria, fungi, bacteria and even parasites. The intestines host the good bacteria called probiotics, that aid good digestion and also some bad bugs. A balance has to be maintained between the two.

The moment that balance is disturbed, yeast becomes active. This may occur as a result of overuse of antibiotic and excessive consumption of sugar. The probiotics are terminated due to the use of antibiotics while sugar aids the preservation of bad bugs. When the bad bugs are activated, it results in chronic illness. And the symptoms include prolonged inflammation, joint troubles, digestive troubles and psychological disorders.

The yeast infection is manifested in those who have a weak immune system due to HIV/AIDS, Cancer and organ transplants. But, this does not mean that other people are not at risk.
