Fun Ways to Fight Food Cravings

The in-between snacks can be dangerous to both, dieting and non dieting folks. The temptations must be curbed before they increase your weight and/or cause other health related issues.

The easiest way would be to click on the gaming apps on your mobile and start playing. Stop the game, once your desire for food is under control; otherwise it may lead to another addiction (game addict).

According to a test, it has been proved that people playing games on the mobile, waiting for net connections or the computer to start, easily get distracted from food.

This is a fact because the mind cannot be focused on too many interesting topics at the same time. So, when you feel like eating an ice-lolly or munching potato chips, think of some other interesting topic like reading, listening to music or playing solitaire games, playing with neighborhood kids.

Do anything to distract your mind from those dishes that would do you no good health-wise. Wanting to have a bite or two will stop in a short while and you are safe from those weight add-ons.

The other way to keep the food cravings at bay would be to eat healthy nutritional items like ‘sun flower seeds, fruit and yoghurt bowl or a piece of dark chocolate’. Eating pista and wheat flakes will also help.

In short, fight food cravings with fruit and nut or games. Just turn your attention to some interesting diversion. Stay away from food that would disturb your diet regime. Eating when you are hungry and a little less than a full stomach helps to stay healthy.
