Candied Yams with Bourbon

Ingredients
  • 6 – 8 large
  • ¼ cup
  • ¼ cup
  • 2 tbsp
  • ¼ cup
  • 1 tsp each or to taste
  • To garnish
Method of Preparation
  • First boil all the sweet potatoes. Peel them and slice them lengthwise or crosswise. Let it cool. Arrange the sliced sweet potatoes in a lubricated (with butter) crockpot or dish.
  • Now mix all the remaining ingredients, except parsley and empty over arranged potatoes. Bake them at 350°F until you see bubbles. Let it cool and then garnish with parsley.
