Crescent Mushroom Turnovers

Method of Preparation
  • Keep your oven on heat, so that it is preheated to 375°F when required. Take a saucepan and mix mushrooms, onions and parsley in 2 tbsp butter, stir over medium heat till tender. Drain the oily substances and keep it aside. Take the Crescent roll dough and divide it into 4 equal rectangles. Cut these 4 rectangles into 4 equal halves, making 8 squares. Arrange them on a large baking sheet. Place 1 tbsp. mushroom mixture over these 8 squares. Then add 1 tbsp of Parmesan cheese on each square. Now, take one by one and fold them into triangles.
  • Now take another saucepan, small one, and melt all the remaining butter. Brush these 8 triangles with melted butter and sprinkle some sesame seeds over them. Bake them in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes. Make sure that they turn golden brown; else you can let it cook for some more minutes. Serve warm.
