Mexican Cornbread Salad

Method of Preparation
  • Follow the package instructions to prepare the corn bread mix.
  • Add to this green chili and set aside, let it cool and crumble.
  • In the bottom of a large bowl, place half of the cornbread.
  • Now make even layers of 1 can beans, 1 cup salad dressing, ½ chopped bell pepper, 1 can corn, 1 chopped tomato, ½ jar bacon bits, ½ packet cheese and ½ green onions.
  • Repeat layers in same order.
  • Cover, refrigerate for 2 hours and serve chilled.
