Microwave Corn-flour Halwa

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup
  • 1 ½ cup
  • 2 cups
  • Small pinch
  • 5 pieces
  • 2-3 tsp
  • 1/2 pinch
Method of Preparation
  • Mix the corn flour, sugar, water and the food color in a big microwave bowl. Mix well to avoid lumps.
  • Microwave at high temperature for 6 minutes. After the first 4 min. Mix again and microwave for another 6 minutes.
  • Stir the mixture at an interval of every 2 minutes to evenly cook the halwa and avoid lumps.
  • Take the cashew pieces in a bowl and roast them in ghee until golden brown.
  • Grease a plate with some ghee and then pour the hot halwa in it.
  • Allow to cool down for 30 minutes.
  • Cut them into small pieces or in desired shapes and serve.
