Method of Preparation
- Trim the crust and cut each bread slice into triangle shape. Heat pure ghee in a pan and shallow fry the bread pieces for about a minute, on both sides till golden brown and crisp.
- In a deep pan, boil milk. Reduce heat and simmer for ten minutes, stirring continuously till reduced to half and thickened. Add condensed milk, castor sugar and simmer for a few minutes, stirring continuously. Remove from flame and chill for around an hour.
- Place the bread slices on a serving dish, pour the chilled reduce milk mixture on top, apply silver varq, and top with chopped nuts. Serve chilled.
