Chicken Nachos

Method of Preparation
  • Preheat the oven to 350⁰F/175⁰C.
  • Heat in a 12 in skillet over medium heat the garlic and white parts of the onions in canola oil, until tender.
  • Mix in the shredded chicken, salt and pepper.
  • Toss until well coated with oil and stir in the salsa.
  • Now arrange the tortilla chips on a large baking sheet.
  • Spoon the chicken mixture over tortilla chips.
  • Top with Cheddar/ Monterey jack cheese blend and tomato.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle with onion greens before serving.
